aiight...
here goes folks... the v1.5 beta edition of the LED suit gui!
you all have heard me prattle on about the suit...for several months - maybe longer
its almost done. the suit is finished, so is the power supply - the arduno code hasnt been tested, but is almost done...
I need you all to help me out by testing this software and writing some patterns. When youre done - hit the save patterns to disk button - then zip up the same folder i sent you (rename the folder to your name) and email it back to me @
dr.light at doctorlight.net
Keep in mind that the fade/delay times of the steps cannot be notated here - so if you are really cue savvy - send me an email when you send me the zipped folder that has your cue timings in it - and ill give you one of the 26 show-slots i have. otherwise, it will be manually xfaded using the arduino MPC and a global fade/delay time.
also - it should be noted that this is OSX software ONLY!!! it will not run under windows, or any other OS other than OSX... I only have had time to compile this platform. SORRY!!!
thanks in advance
dr.light

And so it goes fair friends. The era of Wonderland has passed... As of July 4th, 2008, dr.light is no longer a resident or member of the Wonderland Collective. What an appropriate moment in time for my exodus. Its been a fun ride, and its about to get a whole lot funner! To say the least, it feels like an immense weight has been lifted from my shoulders - but with a sight tinge of sadness. I am now officially a Brooklyn-ite, despite that I have not even slept a singular night in my new Lorimer St digs... and if fate has it, i probably wont for awhile. Ive been re-located yet again to Seattle for the summer - this time for

Install of ElementLabs 1/2 metre VersaTubes onto the scenic portal for the new MTV pilot YouRL - allegedly taking the place of TRL. The show films next week, and rehearses Wed of this week. Notice the grey boxes SR and in the Deck:42"
Akira Modular Plasma Displays - very swanky. There is no external framing, so the entire unit is screen edge to edge. The photos of the tubes dont do them justice - check out the videos!

BassFreq was an event @ Space Island presented by MEKKA and SpaceIsland. Featuring
Bassnectar and FreqNasty dropping their signature sound of dirty, grimey, dub-hop bass bombs , followed up by
LABA's OSCURE and PATRICIO cleaning out the bass bins with L.A's best booming funky desert breaks and electro funk. One great event from the 'cream of the breaks' crop!
Enjoy these fresh morsels recorded live @ Space Island, 2006. Thanks to big John for laying down some fresh B&W overlays as well as breaking out the DVD recorder to nab the entirety of our 8hr odessy. The first two clips feature
DJ Oscure from the LABA and the second has been overdubbedwith a few hot tracks from the USHIRT PROJECT's very own
Johnny Longmind. Very Tasty!

Fractalization of the Body II was the second iteration of a personal project investigating the feasiblity of human interaction with video feedback techniques. Similar to the first iteration, this installment utilized an infared camera concealed in a mannequin. In a strange twist of fate, the space secured for this installation came with a trampoline, which was utilized to great effect. Live music by
