[Space Island “BassFreq” Night ]

BassFreq was an event @ Space Island presented by MEKKA and SpaceIsland. Featuring Bassnectar and FreqNasty dropping their signature sound of dirty, grimey, dub-hop bass bombs , followed up by LABA's OSCURE and PATRICIO cleaning out the bass bins with L.A's best booming funky desert breaks and electro funk. One great event from the 'cream of the breaks' crop!

Thanks to big John for laying down some fresh B&W overlays as well as breaking out the DVD recorder to nab the entirety of our 8hr odessy. [Fractalization of the Body II ]

Fractalization of the Body II was the second iteration of a personal project investigating the feasiblity of human interaction with video feedback techniques. Similar to the first iteration, this installment utilized an infared camera concealed in a mannequin. In a strange twist of fate, the space secured for this installation came with a trampoline, which was utilized to great effect. Live music by specialguest
